The South African economy has undergone many changes over the past decade and industries, especially agriculture, had to adapt in various ways to survive, compete and/or win. The competitiveness level of the industry relies heavily on its ability to adapt to changes and to remain at the top of their game.

Meeting food systems challenges through innovation and entrepreneurship became an essential element for government and private sector. Leaders in the South African agricultural fraternity are now invited by the Agricultural Business Chamber to participate in a tour to the USA, which will focus on new, innovative and trend setting experiences that will enable decision makers in the agricultural sector to be "a step ahead" of the rest and to create valuable business opportunities.

The delegation for the tour will include agribusiness executives, high ranking government officials, leaders in agri-financing and insurance, renowned academics and various other trend setters in South African agriculture.
