On 19 – 21 April earlier this year, members of government, civil society and business met with the intention of formulating a NEPAD implementation plan for South Africa. The 2 day workshop, hosted by the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Trade & Industry, facilitated a robust discussion forum and workshop on the objectives of NEPAD and the role that South Africa plays in achieving these objectives.
