South African APRM Report

South Africa submitted its APRM Country Self-Assessment report and draft Programme of Action to the NEPAD APRM Panel of Eminent Persons in June 2006. The APRM Country Review Mission visited South Africa from 9-25 July 2006 to conduct a series of interviews with various stakeholders including government, private sector, labour and NGO’s in order to assess South Africa’s submission. The South African APRM Country Review Report results was handed to the focal point, Minister of Public Services and Administration, Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi and this report will be tabled for discussion at the upcoming AU NEPAD Heads of State meeting on 29 & 30 January 2007 in Addis Ababa. A copy of the full RSA APRM Report and the final Programme of Action will be available on the NBF website in February 2007.
