A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the NBF and the Development Bank of South Africa (DBSA) is in the process of being signed. This partnership will prove to be of great value to NBF affiliated members who are driving towards Africa's development.
As part of the expansion of NBF activity in Africa, an MoU was drafted with NEPAD Business Group Côte d'Ivoire and was signed by NBF Chairman, Dr Reuel Khoza, on Monday 03 March 2008 at the First International Business Conference in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire.
The NBF has partnered with the NEPAD Council that is based in Germany, and a senior delegation from the NBF will be participating in the 28-30 April 2008 Europe-Africa Business Summit which will not only enhance the links between NBF and European stakeholders, but also between the NBF and African leaders.
In addition, the NBF CEO shall be in China during the period 23 - 27 April 2008 for the10th Anniversary celebration of diplomatic relations between South Africa and China. Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma of the Department of Foreign Affairs will be the keynote speaker at the celebrations, alongside other senior officials from South Africa.
