Minister Patrcia de Lille delivers keynote address on infrastructure projects in South Africa during the Nedbank-NBF Networking Forum

Honourable Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Patrcia de Lille delivered keynote address at the first virtual Nedbank-NBF Networking Forum for 2021 themed ‘Public-Private Engagement to facilitate a more Structured and Enduring Relationship with the Private Sector in support of the Infrastructure South Africa (ISA) Initiative’ on Tuesday, 4 May 2021.

Her role was to respond to two key questions in relation to government efforts regarding infrastructure projects in South Africa:

  1. What support does ISA require in the short and medium term?
  2. How can South African Business support the ISA mandate?

In her address, Minister de Lille outlined government plans to cooperate with businesses in the flameworking and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects.

In addition, Minister de Lille also committed to further periodic update meetings with private sector representatives as a follow up to the action items set out by the initial meeting in the series.
